dotlizard dot com: a pickle!

  • batgrl · 7 years ago
Hmm. Apparently lotsa people love pickles.
How can you make us WAIT to see your lunch?
    That is so cruel.
Hey I have haircut stories. I could ping you! *giggle*
It's addictive isn't it? Maybe we need to start Pingers Anonymous.
Which sounds really rude doesn't it?
I'm blaming the Vanilla Coke. It's making me think rude thoughts.
  • Linkmeister · 7 years ago
Speaking of pinging; kd, please go check my uncaffeinated explanation of the tool over in Batty's comments, willya? I think I got it mostly right, but I'm sure it could use amplification. Bunny and Platypus are asking questions.

hmm. it's been years since i've had a haircut. i've even stopped cutting my own bangs. they are about down to my chin. sometimes it's hard to see where i'm going.

and i just have to get home to upload the sandwich. it's the hugest thing i've ever seen. a good three inches thick.

they also gave me a tootsie pop. i like hudson's grill. even if they are a little excessive with their sandwiches.

oh, one more thing about the google links. go to ilovepickles.org for kids. play with mr. pickle. it's SO MUCH FUN.

brought to you by the pickle packers association. she said with a completely straight face.

    I love pickle spears. Bliss!
    Especially with condiments.
  • batgrl · 7 years ago
I'm kinda afraid to play with Mr. Pickle.
I mean, shouldn't I date him first? At least do dinner?
  • kd · 7 years ago
it's a children's site it's totally innocent. play with mr. pickle! he's an artist! i bet he'll show you his etchings! no, no, he would never do that.

    play with him!
  • Lorraine · 7 years ago
I don't have time to mess around with dinner and a movie, I just want to get that pickle.

kd, you do realize, don't you, that you keep talking about this marvelous sandwich but you haven't told us what's in it. Inquiring minds want to know.

a very robust turkey sandwich, with tons of red onions, tomatoes, mayo, lettuce, and... turkey. which sounds like quite a pedestrian sandwich, but it was still, a sandwich of epic pulchritude and elegant simplicity. it was a masterpiece.

and the pickle was just the best surprise. mmm. pickles.

Well, glad you enjoyed your lunch. Mine was pretty benign, a patty with some coconut water. The latter was very good in the heat that we are having.
  • batgrl · 7 years ago
And in the realm of very bad puns I think I have your new theme song, kd!
    - "I'd Like to Teach the World to Ping" -
    *giggle*
    *sounds of crickets chirping*
Thank you, thank you, please don't throw vegetables, that's so wasteful...
  • stacey · 7 years ago
If you are ever having a sad day, I could Fed-Ex you a pickle. It probably wouldn't get there for a couple days though...
  • kd · 7 years ago
and it might be kind of a soggy pickle, by then... aww, that's very sweet though.
  • JEfromCanada · 7 years ago
Do they sell Strubbs pickles where you live. You ain't tasted a Kosher Dill until you've tasted Strubbs.
  • JEfromCanada · 7 years ago
Spelled it wrong. Here's a link to Strub's site.
  • kd · 7 years ago
wowsers! apparently they carry those in Von's! i'll keep a lookout for them. it's hard to keep pickles in the house, my son loves them ever so much too. i mean, he'll fill up on pickles if you don't watch out.
  • ratty · 7 years ago
pickles are good, but little pickled cocktail onions are BETTER, oh BABY.

now i think we should talk about mayonnaise. REAL mayonnaise...
  • kd · 7 years ago
i eat mayonnaise straight out of the jar. i love to dip artichokes in it. but not pickled artichokes! those rock by themselves.

i could go for a handfull o' them little pickled onions right about now.
  • batgrl · 7 years ago
You do realize, because I'm subscribed to these comments, that I'm dying to go eat some pickles. I have some in the fridge. But it's late and I'm trying to stay away....
  • kd · 7 years ago
my son just walked in the room and caught me playing with mr. pickle again.

and the flash animators -- what gave them the idea to make mr. pickle a painter with the little french beanie cap and a goatee? i mean, who thought of that? and can i have some of what they're smoking?
  • kd · 7 years ago
ooh. check out the google searches below. they are cool.
  • Bill · 7 years ago
